Nothing Yet

I don't know how many people are actually checking up on this -- especially because I haven't posted any pictures yet -- but no baby yet. I have been having mild, random contractions and am starting to really hope that she's ready to come but so far no good. My mom arrives today from Michigan and she'll be here for a while. It will be fun to have some time to hang out with her and show her Missoula but I'm ready for a baby! I should probably enjoy the sleep while I can though . . .

Here and settled

Well we made it and we finally have internet access as well! I can't believe how disocnnected simply not having internet makes me feel!

We packed Friday after finishing off at school and drove up Saturday. The weather was beautiful and Missoula seems like a really interesting town. We'll explore more tomorrow when Chopper doesn't have to work. In the meantime, I've been home playing house. It still feels like I'm on a break from school, not like I'm now a stay-at-home mom -- which I will be very soon! I saw my new doctor and he seems good -- good enough to stick with him for the birth anyway. He doesn't like his patients going to 41 or 42 weeks and since I'm now 38 and 1/2 that means we are likely to have Megan here in about 2 weeks! It doesn't quite feel real, its almost as though I'll be pregnant for good now!

I still need to figure out some picture things before she comes so that when she does it's a breeze to update the blog on a regular basis. In the meantime, we're doing well and just looking forward to continuing all of these massive changes!

Another adventure!

Well Merry Christmas to everyone! Chopper and I had our own Christmas miracle this year: he literally was offered a job on Sunday before Christmas and we took it because I am done on Jan. 11 and we've decided its important to feed the growing family!

We will be moving to Missoula, Montana once finals are done for me. Chopper is in Spokane doing training for the next two weeks and I am hoping that I comply with national statistics and DON'T go in to labor early!

We'll keep you updated when we get there on what's going on and the new baby. Everyone has great things to say about Missoula except one person who told us that Montana generally is the place where people go to escape the law. I thought that was Canada! Regardless, we have already secured an apartment and are excited to see an area of the country that we haven't been to yet. Please keep up with us because we've really enjoyed our time in Idaho and the friends that we've made and in all honesty I am not good at keeping in touch over long distances!
